Mizugi – Japanese term for a womans swimsuit, or bathing suit, in general. The term Sukumizu is used to refer standard school-issued one piece swimsuit (usually white, gray, navy blue or black) with a subtle skirt near the top of the crotch to allow water to flow through the surface. Sometimes, the wearer’s name is printed or written in a white space on the chest area.

The two terms however should not be used equally however, as referring to an adult womans swimsuit as if it were a childs school swimsuit, would be quite insulting.
