Bill 156, known under such names as Nonexistent Youth Bill Ver.2, Nonexistent Crime Bill and the Anti-Anime and Manga Bill, was passed in full voting session of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly.
This bill will restrict the sale of manga comics and anime films with extreme depictions of rape, incest, loli and other sex crimes. Self regulation will be mandated from April 1st and sales regulation enforcement will being from July 1st of 2011.
What can I say? Modern manga and anime will hugely change in next several years. A group of 10 major Japanese comic publishers has protested against the bill, so here is still a change that bill will be declined.

I thought that at Japan there was some sense of permitting fantasies to stay graphical fantasies and only that, because in that way people could release their drives in private.
I abhor rape, pedophile and any acts that goes that way at the REAL WORLD. But in the fantasy world…?
And I thought we’ll be years only to see the end of the ‘blurring-sex-parts’ stupid law that you japanese h-otakus need to bear…
